Cats and dogs 

 

My cat and dog cartoons are my longest-running and most prolific offering. Over the past decade I have drawn over 3600 dogs and cats in fluid ink, pen and digital media.

For several years I created dog-a-day and cat-a-day calendars featuring an all-new critter for each day of the year. I have also turned these animals into stickers, zines, and on occasion I will render specific animals for custom commissions. In 2025, I showcased a retrospective of my dog and cat originals over the years at a small solo show, “Friend Shaped,” at Gray’s Hall (Boston, MA). 

 

Why the commitment to drawing cats and dogs? To me they are simply pure comedy. In addition, many of them are self-portraits. Here are some of my favorites.
